There was nothing wrong with your statement since it was an academic opinion. They once gave me a warning because I asked where Europe's eastern border should be. They said it was inflammatory! I argued and got the warning retracted but I haven't been there much since. They seem to have politically correct people in charge.

There are many, but I also have the impression that some people are holding a politically correct speech in public and are holding another, more politically incorrect, speech in private.

It was, after all, rather comical when the mods closed a post that had absolutely nothing to do with race, racial profiling, etc. but the admin's closing commentary was that the thread was closed due to the racial profiling/mentioning that goes against their TOS.


They also aren't that politically correct. Well, they are, to whatever their mentality of political correct happens to be. It doesn't always amount to the same thing to the rest of the world. And forget it if you go against the "norm" on the forum, even if you happen to know more than the posters... if that's different than the flock you can run into potential problems. I do, after all, fondly remember some of the private PMs I got from some members.


I've been on anthrogenica, on & off, for years. It's an entertaining forum & not much else. I've seen some of the bigger mouthed ones, who have been around on the forum for a while, purposely pick on newer users who are far better versed in something, bait them into arguments & then whine to the mods because these 'winners' are been shown up as fools.
