Would you eat street food in India?

I would probably research the area I would go to, beforehand. Seeing that the body may or may not get sick from eating certain foreign delicacies. I would probably stick with foods I'm familiar with if possible or remotely similar. Nevertheless, I would exercise caution in foreign countries because tourists or foreigners are perfect candidates to scam if one isn't familiar with the customs and mannerisms that is especially prevalent in major cities.
