In my town of about 50,000 people we have three Mcdonalds, Burger King, KFC, Subway, Domnios Pizza, Krispy Kreme & couple of Pizza Huts. They just built a drive though star bucks.

There are lots of fat people here. May as well be American.

The US has no feeling of North Anericanism that ties it to Canada unlike Canada to the US. The US has no focus on Canada where Canada has a massive one on the US. Canada is a ripoff.

Canadians sound closer to northern midwesterner Americans in accent than those type of Americans sound like Americans from the south. Also, they seem culturally closer to American southerners too.
