I hate when people do stuff like that (no one ever actually does it). It embarrasses the opponent who is there to compete and not there for any political purposes. It's bad sportsmanship at best and at worst it's an attempt to get people to talk about the winner more so than they would have otherwise. The more people talk about him the more people he can draw to his fights and the more reason for him to be promoted over other perhaps more talented fighters (I don't know anything about the guy; I'm just saying).

I hate it too but not for the same reason. It's fine to represent your flag or something which a lot of fighters do. But something so specific as dedicating a fight to genocide survivors is fucking cringe. Next time a Turk fighter could beat a Greek fighter and then dedicate it to some slaughter of Turks and bla bla. The whole thing just becomes super retarded.

At least win some really important championship fight before you dedicate it to genocide survivors lol, this is almost an insult to the seriousness of it.
