Could be possible. Blacks up north don't have roots there and their culture is a spinoff of Southern culture but with northern flavor.

I think they're devoid of culture. They're loud, brash, trashy, rude, and often criminal. They take their children shopping at midnight, live off food stamps, and shoot each other at a rate of two people per day, if I remember correctly. If there are any ties to their ancestral culture, they're not readily visible.

See, I wouldn't mind these people. I can really appreciate that culture. It's the ghetto ones that can really give a body a bad impression of African Americans.

The good blacks are in small towns in the south. Don't get me wrong, there are some in the cities too, but most in the cities are real ghetto and trashy. my good friend Pete is black (the one with the confederate belt buckle) he is from a small town and he is one of the best friends you could have, respectable, dresses well, manners, etc. Small town blacks in the south are different than the ones in the cities.

Sounds like New Orleans blacks, except for the culture part. I think it's this urban ghetto culture that does it. Because I know blacks from small towns and they work and go to church and live respectable. Urban blacks are different than them.

Agreed. If that's the case in New Orleans, it must be an urban thing.

It's got to be an urban thing. The elephant in the room often here is that almost all of the crime in the city of New Orleans is created by blacks. The less blacks, the less crime. It's a fact. But that's not the case for small black towns in the south where they live normal like normal folks.

It's the urban blacks. They live a ghetto lifestyle influenced by negative influences. They don't value human life like normal people. They will pull out a gun and shoot each other rather than fighting with fists.

Yes, but only among older or elderly southerners. It's quite common among elderly southerners, but quite rare among younger southerners and those under 65.

Technically Yankees can't invade America, since Yank states are of the original colonial settlers.

The war involving the south was over much more than slaves. Though the Confederates are made out to look evil, when that's not necessarily entirely so. Union states were over reaching in power, crony capitalism, taxation, sanctions, and what not, which are all very unconstitutional. They also didn't really give slaves many rights themselves originally.

Ironically it was Democratic southerners who fought in the war and created the Confederate flag that now liberal Democrats hate. While the northerners were the original Republicans, a seemingly reversed role now.

Prior to the Civil War 25% of free Blacks in and around New Orleans owned slaves. Mullatos, Quadroons some were educated in France then came back to run the family plantation or business in the City. The Creoles had their own style and class so to speak. In the past, when driving between Destin Fl and Cincinnati, I have noticed all of deep south small towns...Florala, Opp, etc., and during the 4th of July all of the residents (Black and White) gather by park/town square and grill out have picnics. Everyone hangs out with everyone.
