Blacks are split probably 70/30. 70% against it, 30% for it. There were many blacks that fought for the confederacy and there are a bunch today that take pride in that. But most of them are against it. I actually know a black guy from down here in Louisiana named Pete and he wears a huge confederate battle flag on his belt buckle. You'd have to see it to believe it.

Obviously, most Southern Blacks do not support the Confederate flag and certainly do not have fond memories of the Confederacy.
But there are a minority of Southern Blacks who do celebrate the Confederate flag and join Confederate pride groups, out of regional pride. Southern Blacks are still very proud to be Southern.
The South is really a separate culture from the rest of the United States. Despite racial tensions, Southern Whites and Blacks have more in common with each other than they do with say, a White person from California.
