So why don't you agree? Common French Med types include Alpine-Meds and Dinaro-Meds, who are more common in Italy than Spain, as opposed to Iberian Gracile Meds and Berids which are not common in France at all. In addition, France has a lot of Germanic types that are far less prevalent in Spain.

I think northern Italians look more continental and like the French, while French rarely look Med in the same way that Italians can, so it is northern Italians looking stereotypically French rather than the reverse.

Here is a thread I made yesterday about some French politicians. They may not look East Med, but they fit better in Italy (North and South alike) than in the UK.

There are some Germans who cannot pass in the UK. Angela Merkel is an example of a German who looks very, very German and not like a Brit.

Egyptians, Arabians(esp. Saudis, Bedouins and Yemenite Jews), Palestinians, Jordanians and Syrians are genetically very similar to one another even though they look differently.

I wonder why. One of them has an Italian surname (Marlene Schiappa) and the other is part Jewish and Maltese!

Otherwise they do look more Spanish actually.
