Well my friend who belongs to Serbian Royal family was declined Serbian citizenship for the reason he isn't Orthodox so he declared himself Bosniak.

    Isn't that insane?

I don't know, you guys know your countries and societies better than me..

But if the difference is so much about religion, then the best solution should be based on it

Here in Greece the vast majority is Christian orthodox, with the 20% being paganists, Catholic, atheist and most of all agnostics. All of them are considered equally Greek, but I can say for sure that if someone convert to Islam, he is automatically considered a non-Greek

The reason is that Islam is a special case, Muslims can't be assimilated in society

That's only the case with people from Middle East, I've never been different.
My cousins who are Orthodox (who did not convert) and my side who did are no different to each other.

Muslims from Balkans have converted to Islam the same way Hellenic Pagans converted to Orthodoxy, we haven't adopted any cultural norms from Arabs or anyone else.

it's just Orthodox Church that wages war against us through media and what not.. cause they are loosing followers.
