True we tan quick but naturally we are pale skinned and not "swarthy". People that are naturally swarthy in Europe are Cypriots and Maltese people

Maltese people have naturally white skin. There are no people in Europe that doesn't have this feature. Cypriots are genetically not European at all really. Geographically, I wouldn't place Cyprus in Europe either IMO.

Maltese are Sicilian (see their surnames) and look it but anyway I am referring to features.

If cretans were the only population between Greek mean and Cypriot, and If Cypriots were not genetically so close to the Levant, there would be continuity and Cypriots would be genetically Greek too

Oh I though Maltese people had the same skin tone as Cypriots.
