Anyway, I'd like what the OP is suggesting, too many right-wing NW/Central Euros see southern Europeans as "white"(whatever the heck that means), when it'd be like Iberians considering northern Mexicans white just because they're 70% Iberian. There's too big a difference in accomplishment/intelligence(we wuz usin' stone b4 ya'll irrelevance aside), maturity, and culture. Culturally NW Euros are probably closer to NE Asians than certain S. Euros. Even if the far-right does win the culture war in the West, it's likely the ignorant, archaic ideas of pan-European freedom of movement will remain(Richard Spencer's shitty idea of a European empire for example). An act of aggression on northern Europeans would likely kill these ideas off, and even if we were to lose, we're currently losing to ourselves anyway.

How can someone dispute the fact that northwestern Europe (UK and France) are more related to NE Asia than.. Southern Europe

only a small portion of the balkan is really med

croatia is a gateway between nordo-slavic and mediterream culture, more prevalently med in dalmatia and more nordo slavic in places like slavonia

slovenia is more northern shifted while serbia is definetly eastern european in culture just like bulgaria, theyre closer to russia than greeks or italians

even in greece, you have areas like epirus with huge foreign influence(slavic and albano-vlach) or central greece which resembles more to albania

crete, aegean islands, southern peloponese and isolated islands like kefalonia are true definition of med

albania does not feel like part of med world, the language is satem, heavy turkified in certain areas plus it is supposed they originated in modern day romania-kosovo border north of jireček line

Most of Greece is much more Mediterranean, and I cam ensure you that central Greece has often more Mediterranean traits than many of the Greek regions you described

Under the condition that Balkan Slavic is not included. Balkan Slavic countries may share similarities with Greece/Albania, but to a southern Italian or Iberian those countries probably feel very "Russian". Like Russia of the south. Not Med.

now stop calling yourself something that you are not:a Northern European, and be proud of what you are: An eastern European, and stop trolling NW Europeans (Brits, benelux) by calling them NE Asian related

Referring to the root of the problem. As a central/east european growing up in Scandinavia there is also another of admiration of the mediterranean countries. The mockery often comes as a result of being proud ( wich is not a bad thing l.) It is not a problem only with mediterraneans. East sentral european (me) can be looked down on as well from all angels until they travel to the country and realize that it had it's good days. There is a reason that North europeans travel to south. Culture, nature.... The best weapon against mockery is to know a little bit about countries outside your own. It works for me.
