I'm not against anything like this. Most Turks already are hardcore nationalists and islamist though.

No they are not. Nationalism is not the same thing as islamism also. There are a lot of nationalists in Izmir.

If you see the last referendum results almost half of the people from big urban cities voted no which is amazing in such circumstances and not all yes voters have islamist aspirations anyway.
