I am up late tonight, and as it is Ramadan, I have been doing a bit of soul searching.
I've realized that the desire to serve my country while also doing what I love (medicine), is the career path I am most interested in.
Are there any ex-military guys here who could possibly lend some insight into what the life of a military physician or surgeon is like? I have read up on the physical fitness requirements and officer training of the Armed Forces' med school, and I know a fair bit about the military, but there seems to be little in-depth information available on the profession since it is so niche.
