At Nato sumit trump basically told all nato members you're on your own. Now russia will take over balkans soon.
I hope germany builds a big army.

So basically at this speed trump is destroying american power in the world. He is fucking up a sueperior power to end up just like england. All whi bit d trump will be directly responsible for this.

American power remains, it's just that their influence in Europe will decrease and their global power projection is likely to shrink.

Germany and France are taking the stage through EU.

Understandable if trump wants them all to pay a little more but merkel is a smart person and moat likely trump has revealed something for her to make such statement.

Recently British politics strongly reminds people of the isle as being the last resort of Karl Marx and his croonies. China had better not to side with Russia on the issue of Arctic claims, Balkan and Baltic annexations.
Trump is as unpredictable as usual, I can not evaluate his office before examining his legacy. Merkel`s frustration possibly came from disagreement on climate policy with Trump, EU`s Climate Change agenda indeed needs to be reexamined in detail. VW exhaust scandal could be a rebutal to european climate policy. Climate Change is real, but EU pushes too hard, renewable energy and electric cars can not stop Russia from controlling Europe`s gas supply, also can not stop deforestation by rampant illegal loggings. EU needs to propose better solutions to convince the world, they failed complying to their own standards as well.
