It is common sense. I doubt you have travelled or lived in more countries than I have in my life and it is still common sense everywhere you go (plus nearly every hotel room has a safe box nowadays...). Not that it is of my concern, like I said I am not from Spain or Spanish neither I have anything to do with you being a naive person.
