Being safe from a terror attack doesn't guarantee a person is safe against a whole range of other daily things which could easily kill them in life.

I live in Westminster in Central London (which is home to most of the West End tourist attractions, great parks, beautiful homes and a massive choice of theatres and restaurants, a large range of designer stores, and so many attractions and conveniences,) but the City of Westminster is also the home of the Queen and the UK government and Houses of Parliament, etc.... and therefore it's a prime location for terrorist attacks.)

I can't allow fear to be an obstacle in life and sacrifice everything I love about living here, cowardly run away from problems and leave my country, and hope to have a long life somewhere else.... that's pretty drastic. (I did feel shocked, alarmed, depressed, pessimistic and very fearful last week after the recent terror attacks in London and Manchester, but the feeling of fear is beginning to diminish and being replaced with calmness and the inner-strength to cope during difficult situations in life.)

People in the UK statisically have more chance of getting struck by lightening, electrocuted, or dying in a car crash, than being a victim of a terror attack.

If anything, security will now be even greater. Terrorists want people to feel weak and defeated and to leave their homes in fear.

Imagine how life would be if everyone stopped flying in planes due to being paralysed with fear after 9/11.

London has often been targeted in history with many bomb explosions by the Irish IRA, the London nail bomber (David Copeland,) and by ISIS groups. The city still stands very strong and it also survived and emerged even stronger after The Great Fire of London in 1666.

Even when thousands of bombs absolutely rained down on London in one night during the London Blitz and the city was on fire... Londoners kept calm and carried on, played on the piano and continued to sing and dance and drink in bars, and refused to cower and submit.

Our ancestors taught us that when the Germans were dropping bombs on civilians in towns and cities all over the UK... the British people still didn't give-in and surrender.

And what's the point you're trying to make? What that has to do with global peace or safety? The data provided in this thread is from 2017, from which year is that wallets issues?

I don't get why Loki gives moderation to people who are mentally unstable and dishonest. If I wanted to embarrass you I would just compare safety standards in Portugal with Albania\Kosovo and have a good laugh about it. But as it turns out, this is a thread about Portugal, in the Portuguese sub-forum, which butt hurted people like you took issue with. You should worry instead about your people who are known across Europe for their widespread criminal activities unlike Portugueses.

That is well known across here. Since Lisbon became a hype city for tourists that we have a pickpocketing epedimic in here. Search on Google or YouTube for Carteirista Lisboa and you will find all sorts of news reports and TV documentaries addressing the issue.
