I've never said you or your people are evil. Getting working forces a level of socialising, gets you moving about every day with a purpose and also earns an income which you can be proud of. Significantly different to sitting on your arse doing sweet bugger all. Telling all who will listen how disadvantaged you are and costing the society and people you live amongst a fairly significant amount of money. And by doing so, adding to the negative stereotype of your people.

Im ill and unfit for work why cant you understand that? Everyone here tells me to get a job and that im a welfareleech or parasite but no one understands that im unable to work.

He's been diagnosed with schizophrenia if you're not aware (I'm sure I can mention this because he has publicly posted it before), so it's difficult for him to do everyday personal tasks let alone work.

@Mortimer, zhaoyun isn't trying to attack you, he actually cares more than a 'friend' agreeing and offering fake advice. He wants to see you in a better place, but you know your situation best. It's called tough love <3

He wouldnt put me down in the forum in my thread. Also in the context of this thread, considering what it is about he took position against me and roma people.

Why so? Making the transition into work can be difficult - no one said otherwise - as you are rehabilitating from a long illness episode but staying at home most likely only aggravates it. Mortimer has shown signs in the past of wanting to do something by applying to job interviews, even if sporadically. If he has struggles with it I would advice him to try out first volunteer work as this can help him acquire skills, build up contacts, and it looks good on the resume. The best part is that it can turn out to be very enjoyable as well for him. He does not loose anything in trying it and can quit it at any moment.

I had for long a part time job for ill people. I did various task for example bottling pepper. I earned 1€ an hour and it cost me more for food and driving costs than what I earned so I gave up. But the thing is even when I had that part time job, people still called me leech because I wasnt working full time and still received a amount of disabled benefits.

I saw a guy on internet who had schizophrenia and was in remission too and he wasn't even able to write a meaningful text; there was probably something more, but it's important.
Every case is different; What I want to say - if M. feels his case is so special he probably shouldn't ask people on internet about their opinions. They can't give him more than he have gotten. Advice will still be the same - if you want to get a girlfriend you will have to spend more time with other people, try to get job or a voluntary activity, get hobbies, try to lose weight,...
