Are you depressed?

Yeah, I bump with depression at times (nothing that severe though). For probably longer than half of my life. But on the good side I'm must be very good at masking it, because no one notice it. To tell the truth most people are shallow as fuck, and don't even bother to peal some layers, just keep it to the superficiality of the beast. Now that I think about it is even a more sad thought Overthinking ... my most loyal companion and my worst enemy.

That's what gets me. I feel alright and doing pretty well, but seeing people around me being down is very depressing. It wouldn't affect me if I didnt have empathy but I do, so I feel for them, but most of the time there's nothing I can do so I gotta accept that and move on :/ and that makes me feel guilty for some reason even when I know their happiness don't depend on me.

The only positive side in my case is that i sleep deep when i am depressed. I dont need friends nor girlfriend, total solitude and living alone helps.
Theres an element of pure freedom in misery, you dont care how your silly haircut looks when you do it yourself while stoned, even get compliments on it. There's no schedule nor any obligations of any responsibility, you just fucking roll with time and hoping to never wake up from beautiful deep sleep full of dreams.

Are there people who actually make a living gambling only? They surely must have another source of income independent of gambling, right?

I have zero sources of income other than gambling. Which is why it makes it a dark world when i start running cold. And i mean magically cold.

She makes me feel bad and thinking about sad romances

How do you get your money from? Do you have a job?

Its a very dark process, long and grewling. For example once i lose 10k i have to take time off and move down in levels of game. Where my last 1k has to last longer even if i start losing, then slowly day by day creep up in money till avetually you can take your chances again on bigger games.
Usually i like to pay my rent 3 months ahead so when things go bad you dont have to stress over having a roof over your head.
Its very stressful life but also exciting with adrenaline. You work long and hard but when you get rewarded for your work you can treat yourself to anything you wish. Like just recently i went touring europe for 30 days.

Yes, I have clinical depression. For the longest time I denied it while I was internally suffering. I thought that I would never be taken seriously by my parents about my issues, so I seeked help from my siblings because I was too afraid of the counselors at my high school sending me to a mental hospital because at the time I was contemplating a thing. It came back up again during my college career and I almost did thing x, so I was forced to get treatment for it and things were still kinda meh. Now that I'm taking meds and am spiritual/religious, I feel better. I was also a high functioning depressed before my meds and religion, but it was so painful.
