I used to be a sexual submissive not too long ago. I quit submissiveness and went dominant after realizing that I really disliked dommes and being a submissive, sexually, made it difficult for me to be assertive during social interactions. Being one was demoralizing and I knew that being a sexual submissive would hold me back in life - because it was hard being a submissive in the bedroom and dominant in real life - so, I was kind of passive during my social interactions and felt less manly. Now, I have a girl calling me daddy and I'm pursuing to marry her one day; despite her living in Australia and is a lot taller than me.
