Yeah that's Davutoglu's policies made us embarrassed. And he was Turkic.

I often heard that the Laz were the lightest Turks; blonde Laz are not an uncommon sight. It's funny because their neighbors, the Hemshin, often have mongoloid features. Both peoples grow and produce tea.

If my memory doesn't betray me, I'm pretty sure I read this information in my guidebook when I visited Turkey: "In northeastern Turkey live the blonde Laz and the mongoloid Hemshin. Both peoples cultivate tea."

Yes both have tea fields but they are not really mongoloid? There are some blond mongoloid photos on the net though.

Probably İzmir or somewhere in Black Sea. I was in İzmir and Zonguldak, there were a lot of blonde and blue-eyed people out there. İstanbul has had a massive amount of immigrants from the East but I can say in parts like Kadıköy or Beşiktaş most people are light-skinned.

The "mongoloid" people you're talking about are probably Chepni Turks from Giresun and Trabzon.

    Turkish actor (from Giresun)

Interesting, that North East Turkey is the most fascist and nationalistic.
How it became that, Laz are more patriots of Turkey, than real Turks???
