Honestly I think people from the south have a different rhythm of life. They are able to doing well but they need their siesta etc.
I guess for their best they shouldn't be part of EU controlled by Germans.

What makes you happy but I insist, the Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and (until a few years ago) Greek economies kick many Nordic economies, as I already quoted.
And this is a fact that no one can deny.
Siestas (you say it as if in Central or North Europe siestas dont exist...) have nothing to do with economy, this assumption is extremely ridicolous.
Siestas happened after you have worked. For example, if you work from 7:00am to 15:00pm, you could take a siesta from 17:00pm to 17:30pm. Or whatever.
Now tell me in what way siestas decrease the economic productivity of a country
