Not really. I had a childhood friend who was biracial (black dad, white blonde mom) and we all saw him as black, not as biracial. We didn't give a shit, though. Boy was cool and smart.

they are even accepted as german ethnically, thats hard to understand because for americans a german must be white, but in germany you can be culturally and ethnically german even if you are racially not fully white. i know a quadroon people think he is a austrian with exotic touch.

Not true AT ALL. In Europe, or at least in Spain, mulatos are seen as blacks.

German mulattoes may be german by law, and may be referred to as german in the media, but I doubt native germans see them as german in the traditional sense.

That's likely because you don't have the same ethnic history as the US, where racial tension between whites and blacks was a problem for a couple of centuries and more recently Mexican immigration shifted from mostly middle class Mexicans in the 40s-50s to increasingly large number of illegal working class or poor Mexican immigrants after NAFTA trade deal helped destroy Mexican corn farming or something.

So there is more of a bias here due to different circumstances. The comments about fried chicken and watermelon are due to them being foods that slaves cooked or brought with them from either Africa or the West Indies. I grew up in the American South though and even as a white person frequently ate fried chicken, watermelon and okra, because that's generically part of Southern cuisine in the US, I guess the attached racism about those foods ironically may have started not from Southern whites but Northerners who had little to no exposure to those foods before anti-slavery emancipation. Would need to check reference on that.

Many famous African-Americans clearly have some White ancestry, MLK being a particularly prime example.

The average African American is anywhere from 60 to 75 percent white. For this reason one would think American people would consider African Americans to be just as American as European Americans, but you have the Anglo Saxon purist supremacists and the angry black supremacists here which piss everyone else off.

I voted for Obama in both of his terms of presidency and I don't date black men but I don't see what the big deal is tbh.

Interestingly, a secretive internet study revealed Southern people (like me) to be less racist than people in places like New Jersey, Boston and Los Angeles. It made me smile because I had always suspected that because I was really taken aback at how casually people from places like New Jersey or LA use the n word, where as in the South you're basically considered white trash if you do that...it also may have something to do with black culture being more respectable in the South too, inner city LA black culture and rap culture just seem like a celebration of stupidity, ignorance and degradation of women to me.
