Did we already how the fire start?
Many reports said that the tower was old and not conform to strict security norms. It seems that the tower was in poor area with immigrants.
I smell that origi of the fire is criminal, so medias try to push in the public head that the guilty ones are bad whites peoples before the investigation conclude a niggers send the garbagge in fire for fun.

Supposedly a faulty fridge from one report. Too soon to tell but come on, no sprinklers and little in the way of fire alarms? If privately owned, the slum lords and individual owners should be held accountable even if they're owner occupiers.

ACP cladding to reface the building. WTF were they thinking. There has to be some accountability. From the materials used recently in the recladding to the quality of fire detection and that they had no deluge fire sprinkler system.

If people are to live in these buildings, there needs to be adequate safety features in place. If the building is old, it needs to be retrofitted to such a standard. If it is expensive and you can't afford it, get out of the landlord business.

Capitalism, showing its ugly face on this one and the council will be involved with planning too. Cheaping out for profit on regulations that ought to be tighter or perhaps rules broken.

It looks like a typical council-estate block of flats that's owned and run by the local council.

Lots of those tall and ugly council-owned blocks exist in UK cities in order to provide free or affordable social housing for people with very low incomes - and most of those high-rise council-owned blocks of flats don't look safe in the event of a fire.
