    I may try to learn Old English some day. That sounds interesting to me. I'm not sure how that is different from Middle English, other than being, well, older.

    I wouldn't mind learning Latvian or Lithuanian myself. Very good learning books for those in German and Russian. I don't get your mentality here. Some even learn very obscure endangered languages just because (like Lakota). Seen you use that argument before. One unfortunate attitude of some Latins is a more commonspread arrogance.

    I only explained what the other guy was aiming to, not that they are literally dead languages. You can learn them if you want but in the business world they are insignificant languages like your native language unless you're working in a niche market.
