Most Iranians look semitic not indo-european

maybe its because of the Arab immigration to Iran or the Elamite semite ancestry in Iran(Iran also was 20% Jewish in Sassanid times and they assimilated and became persians)Iran has a high number of Haplogroup J-M304 associated with Semitic peoples and is clearly afroasiatic in origin.

Theres a signature indid look in Iran that other middle easterners /Meditereanids lack and I would say that a minority of Iranians resemble north indids and these are probabely less admixed with semitic or levantine migrant populations ,elamites,Jews etc but most Iranians are Genetically and phenotypically related to other westasians.

Theres a signature Iranid look for sure and it is basically indistinguishable from Brahmin indo-aryans in india and other med peoples lack it but even Pashtuns who are of partial Israelite ancestry can fit in the rest of the middle east for the most part.

some persians can also fit in the caucasian mountian(Armenia,circassia,Ossetia etc) region,but this is also a minority,and this look is also a signature iranian look different from afroasiatic meds but its still a minority like the indid iranian phenotypes.Iran was a afroasiatic elamite semite country taken over by elite indo-aryan indid types and armenids.

The problem here is describing racial, biological things, in linguistic terms. Though the Arab invasion and the subsequent islamisation of Persia certainly brought some Semitic influence, I believe Persia has always been far more "West Asian" than "European" (if 23andme existed before Muhammed, I bet Persians would still score "West Asian"), and their "Semitic looks" are actually native to them. Apparently, it is hard to believe that an Indo-European group can have "Semitic looks" without being first invaded, conquered.

To be honest, I've never seen anyone other than Nazis seriously thiking that Iranians in the past were "European", "mostly Nordid", only latter tarnished by the invasions from Arabia.

There is no genetic contribution to the genetic genepool of modern Persians from Arabia. Persians and other Iranians are west Asians genetically, and they don't cluster with any Arab group.
