Your attetitude towards beggars

My bf got a homeless man some food at the local fast food restaurant because he felt bad. The guy wasnt even grateful.

He probably did it to try to impress you.

Anyway, no beggars over here really, except for a few and they're not immigrants. I even heard of a story of one guy making over 70 grand in a year panhandling in my city. Some people do it for a living, tax free money.

To many around where i live and they make a living doing this shit. Literally same places same people, and some more agressive than others, i always do give them something but now i ignore them completely. Its smart to remove them like danmark, its a depressing reality you face and thats undeserving for normal people going about their daily struggles.
Some old beat up ladies in european cities though always gave them money.
Was this around 80 year old lady in a sarajveo street i gave her 5euroes. I basically judge them before i spare my money now.

I found them really irritating in India. I only gave money if they were widows, handicapped, certain orders of monks or holy men, or hijras (traditional transgendered mendicants).

I was at a Subway(Restaurant) yesterday eating a sandwich and I notice a black man parked next to my car and he was looking confused in his car. So I eventually left the restaurant and went to my car. The man looking very embarrassed flagged me down and asked if I could help him get a something to eat. I gave the man $20 and left. I did my good deed.

Tbh if they are dishonest and simply putting on a show like some gypsy beggars tend to do then I have a very negative attitude towards them, as they are insulting my intelligence thinking I will fall for their b.s.

If they are genuine I buy them food or water.

I give money whenever they ask. I can not be bothered to investigate them, if they are hungry, or if their child really has cancer, etc. If they spend that money on evil, I still had good intentions. Many of them come around my local mosque on Fridays, some with kids. They know how generous Muslims are so they take advantage of that, especially now that it is Ramadan.

HERE It s definitely fake . all the romani beggars use the same paper with the same words about a mysterious child dying . this child must have 300 mums lol

I got a mouthful from a Swedish friend for giving money to a roma woman outside a supermarket in Ystad. They've also been on the news in Denmark for allegedly driving out homeless ethnics from their spots in Copenhagen, and drew a surprising amount of hateful comments from your otherwise PC Dane. I have sympathy for them. Saw dozens of them sleeping under a bridge in Stockholm last year in freezing temperatures.
