    Default ARE SLAVS REAL AMERICANS?

    One of my friends is a quarter Polish, quarter German, and half Irish. He is very ashamed of his Slavic ancestry. In fact, I have started to notice that he prefers labelling himself as White simply because he does not want Anglo-Americans to discover his true ethnic identity. The reality is that a mix between a Slav and any other European ethnicity is still a Slav!
