It is correct that Kurdish majority regions have on average about twice the fertility of that of Turkish majority regions (3.52 vs 1.7) . HOWEVER, Kurdish majority regions hold a population of only 8,5 million. The rest of the Kurds live intermixed with Turks in Turkish majority regions. Thus the fertility rate of 3.5 cannot be applied to all Kurds. In fact it is about half of the Kurds that have high fertility rate. But even that is not all. Those Kurdish majority regions have very high rate of emigration (-6.2 / 1000 people). Thus it is not a compound growth. Finally, the fertility rate of Kurdish majority regions is falling. It now stands at around 3.37 compared to 3.52 in 2013. That is a sharp decline in just 4 years. Thus, it is unlikely for Kurds to become a majority with current trends in Turkey.
