I find people referring to me to my face as a white girl really weird and unnecessary, I don't like the cultural bias against whites, I don't think it's funny or helpful, if I called a black person "black girl" I'd be regarded like some cracker slave owner and I don't see anything helpful in fostering the delusion that talking down to white people makes them less racist or more tolerant, when it mostly probably has the opposite effect in people who have self esteem above 2.

Well no its more like some person actually calling you "hey white boy".. it's usually done with a nasty, snarky, or condescending tone...it actually bothers me most in Hispanic whites who have blue or green eyes and peachy skin calling Anglo Saxon whites "white girl" (or boy) like they aren't just Spanish speaking white people of European ancestry. I actually feel mildly violent towards people like that though I would never express it because I think it's morally wrong, it makes me that angry, because it implies a casual mockery of non-Hispanic whites, even from other people of European ancestry.

I understand the alt right, I just don't agree with them.

The only thing I find funny is my own mother saying "that's mighty white of you" because she's funny and ironic about it and it's a hokey Southern expression. From a stranger I would find it a covert insult, like saying "bless your heart" to stupid people.

That would be unlikely given that they're both highly educated, classy people. Calling someone white boy is a very low class behavior used by inner city or ghetto identifying people. It's not unsimilar to only white trailer trash calling random people of color the n word or "boy."
