I've always been told by my grandparents that I'm Catholic, but I did not choose that.
When I was a child I always asked them what my religion is and they said that I am a Catholic. They probably knew I was growing up and become a rebel heart.
Today I know that I am not a Catholic, I have no religion. Catholicism is in decline in Brazil, Protestantism is the new trend.

In Brazil, being a Catholic was the right thing to do. Blacks and Indians were forced to become Catholics. Brazilian society was basically like that, but in the last 10 years the number of Protestants has risen. When older people die, Protestantism will become the greatest religion in Brazil! Mostly teens are following that shit.
