Frequently mentioned on this forum. Where is it from and what does it mean? Greasy refer to hair gel I'm guessing?(Can't think of other explanation,really)
Americans and Canadians use this expression mostly, from Brits I haven't seen it

Greasy
An adjective used to describe a person who is; smelly, slippery, disgusting, talks weird, has a clear backpack, doesn't wash their hair, eats lots of mexican food or an event that is along the same lines.

I think it comes from the thing that way too black haired people who have swarthy(not brown) skin and un-uniform hair patterns,in the eyebrows for example or loose beard pattern, tend to look dirty/greasy.

- Indians, Pakistanis
- Mexicans, mestizo or pred. amerindian Latinos
- Sicilians
- Pacific Islanders

Interestingly it is never used for Gypsies who are south asians themself.
