    I occasionally gel up my hair and do the greaser look. I just hate the leather jacket. I used to also dye my hair jet black.

    Here is a fellow Britalian with a greaser look.

    I remember his friends in the movie (rich waspy types) had greasy hair too. I think at the time (15-20 years ago) the greasy pomade hair look was more popular than it is now, it's not as trendy nowadays

    It's becoming trendy now at least in America among Mexicans/Mexican Americans, the pomades that are owned by Mexican Americans even sell all the way to Europe, especially in Southern Europe who tend to have more stylish hairstyles
