Xenophobic, chauvinistic, ethnocentric, always underestimates the achievemnts of other ethnic groups in favour of their own, only thinks and posts or acts in favour or in order to defend his country, doesn't like foreign people that shine in their country (you may watch that many Spaniards even Real Madrid supporters hate Cristiano Ronaldo but Sergio Ramos is a consense person in there which is non sense), repulse by alien cultures in his homeland, denial that some region may have their own culture and may have a legit option or reason to separate from the a bigger country.

Cypriots don't get closer to Levant than Sephardic Jews&Syrian Jews. Also the fact that Cypriots lack the Sub Saharan and South Asian genetic components make them different from the general Levant. Their ratio of component is rather 4:2 (West Asian:Bedouin) the same as Sicilians and Greek Islanders while Levantines, Jews get 3:3 West Asian VS Bedouin ratio which suggest that both Cypriots and Greeks, Italians originated from the same Neolithic populations.
