I dont get this question? 85% what, 80% what? are you aware that every calculator and test will give you a different result and different %s??
go by looks.. if you are non-white it will be in your face
All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races, going nowhere, going nowhere

In Colonial times, one could even have 1/8 (12.5%) of Amerindian blood and still be considered White. So I guess I would say something between 85-90%, but I'll go with 85% since people with this percentage of European blood usually don't show any Non-white traits in their phenotype, as long as the remaining percentage would be anything but SSA. Appearance is important since it defines our etnicity in the social aspect, and, we can't do a genetic test to everybody, lol

If you plot on a genetic PCA chart, with Europeans, you are white. For instance, I am about 98.3% European with the rest Central Asian or perhaps Oceanian, but I cluster either close to the British/Irish or even Dutch on some PCA charts. Some GEDmatch calculators show some SSA but it is lower than 1% so that is very likely statistical noise that I can ignore as other commercial DNA tests etc.. did not really find that or at least not at the threshold of significance above 1%. A problem with these DNA tests is anything below 1% could be statistical noise.
Anyway, a good way to look at it is Ashkenazi Jews. They are so mixed that they cluster below like Sicilians , on a PCA chart, and Sicilians are already mixed enough as it is. So , since I cluster with the British/Irish or Dutch on a PCA chart I consider myself white.
