No it doesn't, it was first used by Spaniards and later by Brits and French. It has nothing to do with Germanic.

Im technically around a quarter Middle Eastern, plus some minor Amerindian and SSA, but everyone in my family has been listed as white in the census since there was a census. We have a binary racial system, meaning you’re either white or you’re not. Its sorta like Latin America, but its also significantly different. Mestee groups back in the day had to literally pick a side before the one drop rule came into practice.

We don't really. Blacks, East Asians, and Latinos don't think of one another as members of one overarching non-white group.

But there is a sense of us vs them, at least from what Ive observed from living and growing up as a minority in a black majoroty area.

I'm not denying that. But, to a lot of black people, just blacks are the "us" and Latinos and whites and certainly East Asians are the "them" and same for those other groups. All the non-white groups don't necessarily see themselves as unified as one half of a binary.

This is true, but to whites its just really white and not white.

I agree that it depends on the admixture and how you look.

Take for example this girl that took a DNA test (among other ladies) on a YouTube Channel. She scores (surpirsingly) 17.3% East Asian and Native American, which breaks down into 14% Native American. She clearly looks white and European, dispite the fact that she scores only 79.5% European.
