Have you seen anyone not from there to call Greeks "balkanite barbarians"? Cause apart from the fact that an average western European doesn't consider us even geographically balkans (something that I do), the vocabulary and cognitive motive of Albanians and once fyromians is very stereotypical

You're triggered because I was right. You're nothing but a Venetian offspring who fetishise about Westerners and their thoughts on Greeks. "Most Europeans accept" LOL
The only thing most Europeans know about Greeks is their laziness, cheap foods, cheap women, and their careless mentality to let in every god damn immigrant.

To the average person (untrained eye) who doesn't frequent anthroforums, they wouldn't be able to tell apart their ethnicity from other ones unless they are radically different. Saudis are radically different from Italians, Greeks, or Iberians so they would be taken as foreign.
Levantines and Turks... it depends. Many wouldn't be taken for foreigners in Southern Europe to the average person.
Sean Connery and Khomeini have some resemblance yeah. But then again, they are both older men in those pics.

Disagree. The family I lived with in New York City (ethnic Croats) were able to recognize Croatian immigrants or tourists in the streets just by looking at their faces (without hearing them speak). In the most multicultural city in the world.
Few times they approached the person and asked them if they were Croats: they answer would be yes.
They claimed it is very easy for them to recognize ''our faces'' among other Americans of European descent. And they were lowly educated working class folk. So the average people in here are not clueless at all who is Croat who is not.
This is probably true for some other ethnicities that are homogenous.
