I'm trying to pinpoint what has set an italian vibe in my pictures and I as far as I can see I fit into the Nordic category.

tall - (reasonably) check
Fair skin - check
Blond, brown or red hair - check
light eyes - check
Inhabiting countries around the North and Baltic Seas - check

You have dark hair and your nose looks like a Roman nose as well as it being long and fleshy, not so typical in northern Europe, but you'd pass a lot of places, Scandinavia wouldn't be my first guess. Germany has a lot more people like you.

The purpose of the nose is threefold.

1. To facilitate the intake of air. A good nose should be able to intake very large volumes of air and allow ample space for the air to reach body temperature before it enters the lungs.
2. To withstand impacts. A small and fragile nose is easily broken, and is the result of cutting corners during the development process with limited genetic resources.
3. To act as a prominent centerpiece to the face. For the face to be visually harmonious, the center-most feature must be its focal point.
