Dozens of gypsies from France arrive with caravans and top-of-the-range Mercedes and BMWs to set up illegal village camp on their summer holiday tour of Britain

The large group were spotted on land in Stapenhill, near Burton-upon-Trent in Staffordshire.

Eyewitnesses said they arrived at around 5pm on Monday in seven caravans and were driving flash Mercedes and top-of-the-range BMW cars.
