Based on autosomal DNA they cluster with Greeks and South Italians, and by looks they also look like Southern Europeans, thus very obviously they are White.

depends on defintion of white... My view is that whites are peoples of mostly north, central, and western europe(mostly germanics and celts), some consider all euros whites and some consider all caucasians(mostly MENA or EURO). by any standard though, it depends on how much of their blood is from said region-you look at it on an INDIVIDUAL basis

I read some more genetic studies on them and indeed they seem to be a hybrid of Southern European and Middle Eastern populations, however physically they still happen to be generally White looking, that cannot be denied.
