At my house, we will be barbecuing, popping fireworks, swimming in the pool and having drinks. Then afterwards, the men and boys will go out to the woods to shoot pistols.

We will be grilling steaks and hamburgers, smoked sausage, hot dogs, spicy hot sausage, smoking a brisket and barbecuing chicken. We will have beer and mixed drinks and liquor for shots. Fun, fun, fun.

Watching the three part miniseries on the History channel Sons of Liberty and laughing my ass off at what these guys would think at the sight of Latin-Americans, Asians, and Blacks celebrating 4th of July.

Hawaii, alaska, cuba, Puerto rico, american samoa, philippines used to be american colony/commonwealth/territory.

While hawaii, alaska officially became American state. While the others became independant. American samoa,guam and other pacific islands are still territory today.

Spanish language was abolished and replaced with English. And rename the country from las isles filipinas to Philippines. And made the officials pledge to the American flag in colonial times.

But times have changed. You should try to assimilate into the American identity if you are going to be an American. If you are American enough to make money from the US and enjoy its economies and freedoms, then you should be American enough to celebrate its birthday and identity, otherwise you are nothing more than a parasite.

Well it's obvious from the founding and history of the US, that the founder population intended for it to be a white nation by and for white people, so even the sight of an almost 40% of the population of the US as minorities would definitely have angered the founders enough for them to probably revolt against it. But times have changed and within the last 3-4 decades, white folks have come to the reality that the US is no longer a 90% white nation and have chose to accept the idea of a plurality (whether voluntary or involuntarily). So being this is now the case in this new version of the US, it would be best to just assimilate because nowadays those that do not assimilate are truly the ones that are despised, and those that assimilate are accepted.
