    Note: even the income from the colonial empires are included on this chart ( but without overseas colonies, they produced much worse results, especially the UK and France.)

    Austria-Hungary probably includes Lombardy-Venetia (1815-1866), Trentino and Trieste which were probably some of the richest regions in the whole Empire.

    I don't really care about that. I wanted to point out that Austria-Hungary included many regions from other present day countries that might count in that chart.

    I doubt in these times the kind of data you need to make these economic statements were too reliable. Or even existed.

    UK so low? I don't think so, there is something inaccurate about the graph. I don't think that Austria or even France were that higher than UK
