When your ass (life) is trully on the line, your body reacts in a very different manner than in a simulated training session, your senses will be sharper. Plus the psychological part of it some will grow from pressure while others break and become overwhelmed (Uriah Hall is an example ). It is not that simplistic, oh that dude beat you at training therefore you will get your ass beat in the fight. Even beating one guy today does not mean necessarily you will beat the same guy tomorrow.

Of course that does not mean Magcregor will not be knocked out by Mayweather, especially fighting someone who never lost in his game, but there's much more to it.

Well then you woudlnt get very good odds, for every $9 you wager you would get $1 back if you bet Mayweather and to be honest it should for 15 to 1 because the chances of Mcgregr winning is astronomical, boxing is night and day different compared to MMA. As much as I love Mcgregor and dislike Mayweather, you need atleast 2 years of boxing training, for any MMA fighter and even a phenom like Mcgregor, to be able to switch to boxing and compete professionally, much less defeat one of the greatest all time. Again age will not be a factor here, Mayweather is still relatively fresh and only a few years ago decisively defeated Canelo, who is IMO better then Paquiao in their primes.

McGregor won many fight bu KO with fist. It would be a surprise if he win but that's not so unbeleivable.

On Mayweeather side, it's a long time he didn't put an opponent to KO and most of his recent fight go on 12 rounds.
I think he will try to win as much time as he can. McGregor is used to shorter fight. He might not be acheived to control himself until the end and make mystake while trying to hit floyd.

I call bullshit on Mayweather being the greatest of all time. Many people felt he lost to Pacquiao and De La Hoya. Boxing in the US (American promoters) is a rigged sport. They don't even care if it's blatantly obvious.

The betting odds opened up 22-1 Mayweather. Heavy money coming from MMA fans has brought it down to 8-1,9-1 odds.

Canelo was still a young boxer back then . Canelo can beat Mayweather now. I would put money Canelo KO Mcgregor in the 1st round.

No dog they didnt open up 22-1, I was about to take it at -500 but it quickly climbed to -900 and surprising enough I just checked it and it went back to -600 or 6-1. And no doubt Canelo would eat McGregor in boxing, same way as Mcgregor would totally destroy him in MMA. This whole fight is only about cash and hype and 0 substance, McGregor, the little Irish plumber is gonna make more then $100mil getting beat up. Gonna be the highest grossing PPV event of all time.

I am rooting for McGregor but he is clearly the underdog and most likely is going to be beaten the crap out by Mayweather.
