Do Aframs feel uncomfortable around Africans? Particularly ones that are dark and rural? For a while I felt uncomfortable around panflute playing Ecuadorians.

Probably because of culture and language barrier. And AfraAms also have some Euro admix which makes them look a bit different.

Generally speaking, no they dont because they have black pride, african pride and such, they are very proud people and they are usually the ones who push for a black unity around the world
its normal to hear them label themselves african kings/queens, or wear African continent necklace among other things

Aframs are probably the most socially extroverted people around.

It's the other way around, Africans often times feel uncomfortable with the camaraderie that Aframs express (and then go around talking shit behind their backs).

African immigrants in america often say that africanamericans ask them hundreds of questions about their customes , stories etc . africanamericans might get superexited around them etc .

if anything it s Africans who feel uncomfortable but i guess there can be pleasure in knowing someone is so interested in your culture and especially respectful of it , especially when your country is considered third world and your people uncultured

yeah that is true, ive heard that african parents tend to not want their children marrying african americans nor caribbeans
in Nigeria, they refer to African Americans as Akata
while for Latinos, they use the term Kokoye

I think new world Africans in general tend to be much more friendly and nice to foreigners than Africans.
