One of the senior managers at work is North Italian and she is passionate and loud.

I am not sure if melodramatic is the word but she definitely has the south euro aura of larger than life.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

To me there is obviously the neat Rome-Foggia line of Melodrama

North of it we are not like that. Even more north of it we are THE oposite; abruptly changing in character

In my region people tend to destroy excesive melo-speech or pompous -histrionic speech on theirselves (we are thought ironic-good faced arrogant-passionate but not melodramatic as that implies low discreetness and excess)

I exclude abruzzo because even being the south people there are really quite and don't really speek, and are shy. They seem to be mute

The melodrama goes from Rome in wich many people can already be like that to apulia

Neaples is the Capital of Melodrama

No, I don't think so. Of course, melodramatic people exist among all nationalities and ethnicities.

Melodrama is also Afabulation (I have to check if this word exists in English language as maybe is a mistekeous calc from italian)

North of that line we re not Afabulators but the oposite actually

There is a common stereotype about Italians that they are passionate, loud etc., and this way are shown at commedies, scetches, etc.
