What are your favourite places where you live?

For me it's my local indoor market, it's huge. It's full of honest-to-goodness, down-to-earth people who work long hours in all weather. It attracts customers who enjoy good fresh produce, such as locally reared meats, freshly caught fish and hot fresh bread etc. Not only that, but Dylan Thomas based characters on the people who used to frequent the place.

The backyard of my countryside cottage. It's a treat to take sunbathes on long summer afternoons and beautiful to see Lisbon glowing from this distance at night.
