When you look at the population size civilians killed by cops is rare in the US. Obviously you have abuse here and there but nothing like in many other nations. In NYC not long ago some cops got busted for being involved in some scam involving legal gun permits (I don't remember the specifics; I think it involved allowing people to go through the process quickly and without all the red tape for a fee). So it's not like they run a muck. It's a dangerous job and they don't want to die. So if it comes to you not listening to orders and being antagonistic and having your hands all over the place, I'd shoot you also. It only takes a moment for someone to shoot you and if I was a cop I'd rather you be dead than me.

About 2 unarmed civilians a day get shot and killed by American cops. So about 700-800 a year, but only 10-12 of those are women. Mohammed Noor went for the ACE OF SPADES of unarmed civilians...a blonde pretty woman.

I'm glad you're still sympathetic with American cops and the daily risks they face...I think this killing though, will finaly tilt the debate in favor of those who say, American cops are indeed trigger happy.
