    Default The Mandela Effect

Ever heard of this before? It's actually rather fascinating a topic. I've watched a few videos about it on YouTube, and it intrigues me... partly because I've experienced this myself actually before, even recently, and it got me to scratch my head...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_...false_memories

    Collective false memories

Similar false memories are sometimes shared by multiple people. For example, a somewhat commonly reported false memory is that the name of the Berenstain Bears was once spelled Berenstein. Another reported example is false memories of a movie starring the comedian Sinbad, called Shazaam. One study examined people who were familiar with the clock at Bologna Centrale railway station, which had been damaged in the Bologna massacre of 1980. In the study, 92% falsely remembered that the clock had remained stopped since the bombing; in fact, the clock was repaired shortly after the attack but was again stopped 16 years later as a symbolic commemoration.

In 2015 this phenomenon of collective false memory was dubbed the "Mandela Effect" by self-described "paranormal consultant" Fiona Broome, in reference to a false memory she reports, of the death of South African leader Nelson Mandela in the 1980s (rather than in 2013 when he actually died), which she claims is shared by "perhaps thousands" of other people. Broome has speculated about alternate realities as an explanation, but most commentators suggest that these are instead examples of false memories shaped by similar factors affecting multiple people, such as social reinforcement of incorrect memories, or false news reports and misleading photographs influencing the formation of memories based on them.

This is actually really interesting, I have looked into it from time to time and its considered to be connected to CERN.

The popular conspiracy theory is that they are using CERN to go back and try and manipulate the old testament, there are even inconsistencies we can see in it since CERN was fired up. I'm not saying it's true, but interesting.

If you want a more consipritorial read CERN since it was fired has been a numerous source for light particles resembling demonic faces ect. The conspiracy theory is that by colliding protons can open up a gate to another dimension. I don't personally believe it, there is no evidence that I can see, but it is interesting that when it was opened a bunch of scientists did the dance of destruction or whatever its called, and there is a creepy statue of shiva out front and they have been seen on camera doing mock human sacrifice. It's just weird.

I do believe the possibility of a multiverse existing is fair, and for us to somehow get glimpses of alternate realities... who knows? And then there is the issue that creatures or people of the future could master time-travel, and travel back to change the past? Anyways there are a whole range of interesting possibilities, that seem to be in the realm of sci-fi.

Then would be interesting to know the
future without Mandela living after 1980...

A multiverse is mathematically possible and does fall within the realms of science we understand. Opening a gateway, that's something else. It's certainly not impossible per say, and it's interesting to think about. The stated goal of CERN is to basically recreate the conditions of the big bang, that's why they scoot protons at 99% of the speed of light and smash them into each other.

That said, there are still a lot of weird things surrounding the facility. They have a lot of weird things that hearken back to ancient texts, and even in the old testament of the bible. Just off the top of my head, there is Shiva, there is a key that was used to help cristin the facility that represents the key that opens hells gate, there is freaky acts of mock human sacrifice and another indian god who's name escapes me at the moment.

It's interesting and fun to read about.
