Yazz (born Yasmin Evans, 19 May 1960,
to a Jamaican father and an English mother)
is a British christian pop singer from Shepherd's Bush, West London.

She attended Holland Park School
in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, West London,
where she excelled at sports, including the 400 metres.

A number of high-profile socialists sent their children to Holland Park School,
and it became known as "the socialist Eton".
