Yes, especially among the Cypriots and the Pontic Greeks who are arguable more middle eastern genetically than European. The mainland Greeks do have more west Asiatic admixture coming from the neolithic period from Anatolia and the Caucasus while in Southern Italy came mostly from the Levant.
