With this being said, I'd still say that, at least once the Central Asian and darker Persian types are taken out of the equation, Greeks are still undoubtedly closer to Turks in looks than to most Europeans from Austria northwards.

Slave trade during the Ottoman Empire had no significant genetic impact on modern Turks. Average citizen had no slaves, most of the of muslim folk of Anatolia (Turks in this case) had even single wives eventough multiple wives are allowed in Islam.
Predominant source of NE admix amongst the Anatolian Turks comes from Turkic newcomers, as we see that it has increased by the Turkic invasion. Anatolian Greeks score less than Turks, Armenians score almost %0 percent.
WHG is not the only component that makes people "European". The reason why Greeks score more WHG than Turks is the mediveal Slavic invasion. It changed the whole demographics of the region. Ancient Greeks were probably genetically more closer to Levantines and Pre-Turkic Anatolians than to other Europeans. Islander Greeks genetically significantly differ than them.
Regardless of the genetic mambo-jambo in this thread, Turks are not Europeans for mostly historical and cultural reasons. But we don't identify ourselves as "Middle Easterners" either. Turks have always been an Eurasian people.
