Partially, becasue it was probably very rare in antiquity,
and secobndly - because there was no so much testing.
*one who is claimed to be, is not confirmed by
testers, but only huessed by Internauts, and
probably can be confused with mt R2 from the
same area - hard to get the truth about it.

Yes, but interpretations are a different story.I mean, that is a reputable company. All of the early research for GENO happened at FTDNA's labs.
Imagine, that they new age and place of origin of haplogroups
when they did not yet know, what exactly hg is. It says a lot
about modern science. Such attitude is present in all branches
of scence btw. Many things are just guesses.
